ZYGMUNT WYSZYŃSKI

* 24.9.1913 Kopytów district Błońsk

† 20.2.1944 Tappenbeck, death certificate No. 10/1944 recorded in Fallersleben (Wolfsburg)

Wyszyński was deported to Hanover for labour during the German occupation, on the 17th of December 1940. His last place of employment was with Mayor Friedrich Wolf in Tappenbeck. The nephew of the deceased, Stefan Wyszyński, corresponded with the family of the former Mayor, who claimed that the Pole was treated well, but committed suicide out of fear of the Russians, which seems rather unlikely.
