Rhaude
Six of them died during the heavy fighting for Posthausen and the crossing of the river Leda, and one died after the war. A tall stone plaque was placed on the grave with a quotation from the Gospel in German:
ER IST UNSER FRIEDE. EPH 214

During an inspection, it was found that the graves and the helmets placed in front of the tombstone were looked after and maintained by a former soldier of the 1st Division - Józef Chrzanowski from Aschendorf. On the initiative of Pastor Edwin Pech, honorary patronage over the tomb was established by the WANG Evangelical-Augsburg Parish from Karpacz.
In accordance with international conventions, the Division sign, the name of the military unit and military ranks were forged on the new tombstone. Moreover, errors were corrected and the following inscription was added in two languages:
HIER RUHEN SOLDATEN DES 10 DRAGONENREGIMENTS DER 1. POLNISCHEN PANZERDIVISION
TU SPOCZYWAJĄ ŻOŁNIERZE 10. PUŁKU DRAGONÓW 1. POLSKIEJ DYWIZJI PANCERNEJ
[Here lie the soldiers of the 10th Dragon Regiment of the 1st Polish Armoured Division]
