Goslar
Until early 1990s, the remains of victims were dispersed in plot IV at the cemetery. In 1992 long-term works started to create a worthy place commemorating the victims. Then, the graves dispersed at the cemetery were moved to a single location and in 1995 the memorial stone that had been located in distant parts of the necropolis was moved to plot VI. Later, identification of the victims began - some of them were only known by their concentration camp number. Then, some of the tombs were renovated and an information plate was erected there. The memorial place was officially opened in 1997 with the participation of the Polish Vice-Consul from Hamburg.
