Haza-Radlic, Wojciech Ludwik (Wojciech Ludwik Radlic-Haza, Wojciech z Radlic Haza, Albert Ludwig von Haza-Radlitz), from 1825 Cabinet Secretary of Duke Ferdinand Friedrich von Anhalt-Köthen, Chamberlain of the Duchy of Anhalt. *16.4.1798 Lewitz/Lewice near Meseritz/Międzyrzecz, † 21.4.1872 ibid. Lieutenant, lawyer, lord of the manor, father of the member of the Reichstag, Bernard Haza-Radlic (1837-1897). After attending school in Dresden and Berlin he served as a volunteer rifleman in the Prussian army in the 1815 War of Liberation and was promoted to the rank of Second Lieutenant. Between 1816 and 1819 he studied law in Leipzig and Berlin. In 1820 he served as an unpaid trainee judge at the Supreme Court in Berlin, and in 1821 at the regional court in Naumburg. Following an intervention by his stepfather, the writer and philosopher Adam Heinrich Müller (1779-1829) – he was originally the house teacher for the Haza-Radlic family – he took up the post of Cabinet Secretary at the Court of the Duchy of Anhalt in 1825. In the same year he converted from Protestantism to Catholicism and was made a Knight of the Papal Order of the Golden Spur in 1829. From the end of the 1830s he began to translate religious books from Italian into German. He later resided at his estate in Lewitz near Birnbaum/Międzychód.
