Dziembowski, Zygmunt Florian (1870 Sigismund von Dziembowski, Sigismund Florian von Dziembowski-Pomian), 1903-08 member of the 2nd Chamber of the Prussian Landtag, 1889-1903, 1907-12 member of the Reichstag of the German Empire. *5.10.1858 on the Goranin estate near Schwarzenau/Czerniejewo, district of Gniezno; †20.7.1918 Poznan, lawyer. Son of the estate owner and lawyer, Władysław Andrzej Dziembowski (1831-1896). After passing his A-levels at the Maria-Magdalena grammar school in Poznan he studied law in Breslau. In 1880 he was made a Doctor of Law in Göttingen. Subsequently he worked as a trainee lawyer and lawyer at the Regional court in Poznan. He was the counsel for the defence in a huge number of political trials against Polish citizens, including the trial that took place after the Wreschen School Strike in 1901. In 1889 he became a municipal councillor in Poznan. From April 1889 to June 1903 he was elected as a member of the Polish parliamentary group in the German Reichstag for the constituency of Wreschen-Pleschen/Września-Pleszew with majorities between 79% and 82%; and in January 1907 with a majority of 66.56% for the constituency of Hohensalza-Strelno-Mogilno/Inowrocław-Strzelno-Mogilno.
