Dunajski, Petrus, 1912-18 member of the Reichstag of the German Empire. *26.1.1869 Dzierondzno/Dzierżążno near Morroschin/Morzeszczyn, †11.7.1938, parish priest, and son of a farmer. After attending the village school in Dzierondzno, in 1880 he moved on to the Episcopal Progymnasium in Pelplin and finally to the grammar school in Culm/Chełmno. Then he studied for four years at the theological college in Pelplin and was ordained in 1896. Subsequently he was a chaplain in Lalkau/Lalkowy and Löbau/Lubawa for three years, after which he was appointed to the post of a substitute priest in Bytom. In 1905 he was made the parish priest of Lippusch/Lipusz. In January 1912 he was elected as a member of the Polish parliamentary group in the German Reichstag for the constituency of Berent-Preußisch Stargard-Dirschau/Kościerzyna-Starogard Gdański-Tczew with a majority of 60.9%. He was a member of the select committees on trade and commerce, delivery systems, petitions, the Reich budget and foundation names. picture: 1912.
