CZESŁAW NIEMEN

Born on 16th February 1939 as Czesław Juliusz Wydrzycki, died on 17th January 2004.

Czesław Niemen began his career in the early 1960s with the band Niebiesko-Czarni (Blue-Black). He achieved a breakthrough as a solo artist in 1967 with his first LP and its title song, “Dziwny jest ten świat” (Strange is this World)
