Meppen
Only six graves remain, three are considered missing and four have not been located. In 1959, the Polish minority magazine "Polok" informed about the levelling of Polish war graves in Meppen. Small stone plaques with basic data of the buried were placed on the graves.
The official list of Polish victims of the Second World War buried at the Catholic cemetery in Meppen contains 55 names; one grave is located in the war plot of German Wehrmacht soldiers.
