Before 2002, this small soldier's plot was cleaned up, and erroneous data on the tombstones was partly corrected. Moreover, information on military ranks and affiliation to specific units was added, in accordance with accepted principles. A stone plaque was placed in front of the tombstones, with the Polish national emblem, division symbol and a text in Polish and German:
