Their first names, surnames, dates of birth and death were carved on low cross-shaped tombstones, but there is no information about their national or military affiliation. These people were killed when their units were fighting between the Leda River and Hault Tel canal and further north from Posthausen. The graves are looked after by the local Evangelical parish.
