Kwilecki, Hektor hrabia

Kwilecki, Hektor hrabia (Hektor Kwilecki, Hektor von Kwilecki, Hektor Graf Kwilecki), 1887-1903 member of the Reichstag of the German Empire. *20.1.1859 Poznan, †3.2.1912 Kwiltsch/Kwilcz, lord of the manor, officer. He was the son of the member of the Reichstag, Mieczysław hrabia Kwilecki (Mieczysław Maria Napoleon Graf Kwilecki, 1833-1918). After his time at the French grammar school in Berlin and the Maria-Magdalena grammar school in Poznan he served from 1879 to 1884 with the Prussian 2nd Garde-Ulanen-Regiment in Berlin, was made a Second Lieutenant in October 1880 and finally promoted to the rank of a First Lieutenant (cavalry captain) of the Garde-Landwehr cavalry. He was the owner of the estate at Kwiltsch. In February 1887, in February 1890, in June 1893 and in June 1898 he was elected as a member of the Polish parliamentary group in the German Reichstag for the constituency of Samter-Birnbaum/Szamotuły-Międzychód with majorities between 50.21% and 53.34%. He was a member of the select committees on peace treaty effective strength, homestead law, petitions, inland waterways and sugar treatment. He was a privy Papal Chamberlain.
