Kossowski, Bolesław
Kossowski, Bolesław (Boleslaw von Kossowski), 1881-84, 1890-92 member of the Reichstag of the German Empire. *25.3.1839 Gajewo near Ostrowitt/Ostrowite in the district of Briesen/Wąbrzeźno, †18.11.1892 ibid., lord of the manor. After completing grammar school in Culm/Chełmno he attended the Agricultural Academy in Proskau/Prószków near Opole, after which he worked on his estate at Gajewo. In October 1881 he was elected as a member of the Polish parliamentary group in the German Reichstag for the constituency of Marienwerder 5 (Schwetz/Świecie) with a majority of 53.35% in the 2nd ballot; and in February 1890 for the constituency of Berent-Preußisch Stargard-Dirschau/Kościerzyna-Starogard Gdański-Tczew with a majority of 67.41%. He died during the 8th legislature period.
