Grave of the polish child
The necropolis contains the graves of Russian prisoners of war, who died and were originally buried in various places in the Nienburg district (43 anonymous tombs). The graves were moved when larger war cemeteries were created, to a place where already several graves existed, probably of Russian forced laborers and an unknown Polish child, born in 1942 and deceased in 1945.
