The tomb crosses bear the surnames, forenames, dates of birth and death, without any additional markings indicating national or military affiliation.

Three names were carved on the tomb crosses of stone. Apart from the names of soldiers of the 1st Division, there are other Polish names and one Russian- or Ukrainian-sounding name (Siofan Homenko), probably a prisoner of war (original spelling preserved):
