Żółtowski, Marceli
Żółtowski, Marceli (Marcell von Zoltowski), 1848 member of the Prussian National Assembly, 1849/50, 1859-61, 1862-67 member of the 2nd Chamber, 1880-1901 of the 1st Chamber of the Prussian Landtag. *14.3.1812 Bialcz/Białcz in the district of Kosten/Kościan, †29.4.1901 Poznan: a lord of the manor, Royal Prussian Chamberlain, general provincial director and father of the member of the Reichstag, Alfred Żółtowski (Alfred von Zoltowski, 1841-1877). From 1838 onwards he administrated the family estates. In 1846 he became a general provincial director and from 1863 to 1869 he was the general director of the province of Poznan. In 1848 he was a member of the Left Centre in the Prussian National Assembly, and from 1859 a member of the Polish parliamentary group in the 2nd Chamber of the Prussian Landtag. Between 1850 and 1869 he was the general director of the Towarzystwo Kredytowe Ziemskie/Mortgage Credit Company in the province of Poznan. From 1880 onwards he was a member of the Prussian House of Lords.
