Ziętkiewicz, Ludwik
Ziętkiewicz, Ludwik (Ludwig Zietkiewicz), 1874-77 member of the Reichstag of the German Empire, 1882-85 member of the 2nd Chamber of the Prussian Landtag. *16.7.1831 Poznan, †21.10.1897 Labischin/Łabiszyn: a priest. After passing his A-levels in 1853 at the grammar school in Tremessen/Trzemeszno, he spent three years at the Archiepiscopal Theological College in Poznan and was ordained a priest in Gniezno in 1856. From 1857 to 1860 he was the vicar at the parish church in Tremessen, from 1862 1892 the parish priest in Objezierze, and from 1892 to 1897 in Labischin. In January 1874 he was elected as a member of the Polish parliamentary group in the German Reichstag for the constituency of Samter-Birnbaum/Szamotuły-Międzychód with a majority of 51.21%.
