Różycki, Władysław

Różycki, Władysław (Wladyslaw von Różycki, Wladyslaw von Rózycki, Wladislaw von Rozycki, Wladislaw Rozycki), 1890-98 member of the Reichstag of the German Empire. *12.8.1833, †10.8.1915 Wlewsk in the regional district of Strasburg/Brodnica, lord of the manor, farmer. After attending the grammar school in Culm/Chełmno he engaged in farming activities, and in 1855 took over his father’s estate at Zajonskowo/Zajączkowo in the district of Löbau/Lubawa. In 1861 he purchased the estate at Wlewsk, where he henceforth resided. In 1864 the Supreme Court in Berlin designated him as a suspect in the 1863 Polish January Uprising. In February 1890 and in June 1893 he was elected as a member of the Polish parliamentary group in the German Reichstag for the constituency of Strasburg-Graudenz with majorities of 50.76% and 51.69%, each time in the second ballot.
